Docs drift kills trust. Living docs keep the product surface and documentation moving together.

Definition of done

For user-visible feature PRs, include one of:
  • docs updated in the same PR, or
  • explicit docs: none rationale with justification

Change checklist

  • behavior changed?
  • setup/env changed?
  • API contract changed?
  • pricing/limits changed?
  • CLI or command examples changed?
If yes to any, update docs.

Ownership model

  • Ponzu review workflow docs
  • Dojo platform docs
  • Conceptify product docs
  • Shared orchestration/docs-process docs
Assign one owner per area and review docs updates in PR.

Monthly drift audit

Once per month:
  1. sample top user workflows
  2. validate steps against actual product behavior
  3. fix stale pages and examples
  4. record follow-ups
